For 1987-2006 Jeep TJ, LJ, YJ, XJ, and MJ vehicles that are equipped with 231-J transfer cases only. Recommended when using 4 to 1 conversions, V-8 conversions and/or 37" or taller tires.  This kit reduces the overall transfer case length by 4 1/2" on these vehicles which results in improved driveline angles for Jeeps with lift kits. The Slip-Yoke Eliminator Kit utilizes a larger main bearing for a 44% increase strength under load and the unit offers a 54% increase in torque capacity. The heavy-duty main shaft is 18% larger in diameter with 32 splines instead of 26. This kit comes with C.V. style end yoke to accomodate 1310 or 1330 U-Joints. Factory heat treating retained.
