HD Transfer Case Skid Plate for '97-'02 Jeep Wrangler TJ (No Body-Lift Req'd)(Carbon Steel Plate)
Fits '97-'02 Jeep Wrangler TJs with standard or automatic transmissions.
Fabricated from 3/16" thick carbon steel plate (with optional upgrade to 1/4" plate). The parts were designed in 3D CAD software and laser cut then bent on a CNC press brake for a perfect fit every time.
The UCF Transfer Case Skid Plate is reinforced in the middle of the skid from one side to the other with a stiffening channel/transmission mount. The front and rear edges are ramped to increase strength and aid in sliding over obstacles. This product will increase ground clearance by about 2" over the factory skid plate. The total height of this system is about 2".
No Body-Lift Required to run this skid. Shipped UPS in bare steel.
Mounting hardware not included. '97-'02 TJs will require (6) 1 1/2" long x 1/2"-13tpi hex bolts with flat washers.

Looks great. Performs great. Gained a ton of clearance. Couldn’t be happier.
Just a installed this with a Currie 4” lift and she’s gained a ton of clearance without a true tummy tuck. I’m not a huge fan of body lifts so seeing this turn out so slick was super rewarding.
On a stock wrangler 2” spacers were required to get the pinion angle correct to eliminate severe vibration. Otherwise a very well made product.
