The UCF Transmission Cross-Member for Jeep JK is fabricated from 3/16" carbon steel plate that is laser-cut and formed on a brake into (2) u-sections. These sections interlock and are welded together all along the length on the part. It is sealed on the ends to prevent water intrusion. Any unnecessary factory holes were omitted from the design. This aids in preventing corrosion. Four extra weld-nut holes have been added for attaching future skid plates. This piece weighs 32 lbs, just 17 lbs more than the stock piece with more than 4x the strength! This part is covered by a lifetime; you bend it, we replace it warranty!
